About
After getting a BSc in chemistry with honours from Birmingham University UK, I pursued my research career in getting a PhD in organic chemistry at Cambridge University UK.
My appetite in business, economics and most importantly, human beings naturally drew me towards a business career in industry.
My track record
My distinct liking for meeting challenges and also for French culture attracted me to start my business career in France. It was a big risk (especially in view of my considerable weakness of the French language at that time) but the outcome was a long salaried career with many stages : applied chemical research leading into technical commercial sales, then product development.
Followed by a sales oriented marketing culminating as managing director of a sales subsidiary in a large French chemical group. Following this came top managerial work in micrography and office consumables. My last salaried job was as the managing director of a French subsidiary of a British group with a small sales force and factory.

My Mission
I thoroughly enjoy being challenged by the audience. I love being questioned on the cutting edge of the subject in question. I learn far more from the audience than one could imagine. The more exchanges there are the better it is for all. Using humour to make impact with one’s points is both enriching and useful.
